Yes, we see most things the way we want to see them. We may all say we seek out truth.

But, our language should not entail a vicious blame game ...or one riddled with denial.

I am not guilty!

It's not my fault.

All those intolerant 'haters' are to blame.

And anyone who opposes your ideas, are they really 'haters' ...because you accuse them of making you sad???

If you merely say, "It's the only thing that makes me happy!" Well, I saw some people in prison who were only happy when they were beating someone else down.  Others say, "My happiness doesn't hurt anyone.  I share it and that way more than just me can be happy."

Obviously, in many situations, we don't fully understand what Adam and Eve had to realize ...that things are forbidden.

The fact is, some accusations are accurate ...but maybe we should not look at them as accusations.  I'd prefer to look at them as insights.  Let's not try to dodge the facts ...or God, as Adam and Eve did.

Sadly, sometimes the truth hurts.  But, it shouldn't hurt for long.  Kelly Clarkson sings a song, with the lyrics, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

No way would I want to imagine anyone getting to the point that something would drive them to death.  I focus on what brings people life ....and that is Jesus.  And Jesus makes us stronger.
